Secretly Is All It Will Ever Be… Secretly

Maybe it’s a sign
A sign that maybe I should start over
Only way I can do this, is to forget about every one
-it’s wrong, but it hurts
I like her…secretly she doesn’t like me back
I’ve seen her with my friend…secretly it hurts
Now she is alone…secretly I want to scream
Secretly…is that the only way I can do it?
Secretly…I will learn to love from afar
Secretly…it will hurt every time I see her
Secretly…I’m not allowed to see her, my own stupidity
Secretly…is all it will ever be…secretly
Secretly…I don’t want to see her this way , because it hurts
Secretly…I want to scream
Secretly…it comes from inside
Secretly…it will boil to the boil of boils
Secretly…I will explode
Secretly…no one will know
But secretly…I’ll keep this secret a feeling to my heart
Secretly…to myself
And one day you may come to me ......we would be together :)

Ever since I have started working since the Jan of 2009, this is the first time I am getting a chance to do a trip with some of my friends. My best friend and some of his friends and some of his friends of friends are going to Goa . I & Vaishu would join them  in Goa on 2nd Oct ( Yes a dry day , I sound stupid :P )  and going to stay with them for the rest of the week. I feel excited about the trip. It might be a refreshing break from my usual work days routine. I am taking off of only one day but I will be getting a whole bunch of 5 days off.  – Which is a Thursday + the weekends. I am trying to not think about it too much and I am going to try be in the moment and think about it when I am actually there. A weekend getaway to Udaipur...........Vroommmm

Paradise  for architecture lovers vibrant Rajasthan is an incredible destination popular for its formidable monuments, colorful culture, golden sand dunes and the desert! Magnificent monuments silently tell the tales of prosperity, gallantry and tragedies of the bygone era.  Udaipur is a nice, cozy size for a city and exploring it at my own pace was entirely possible. And the locals were friendly and ever ready for a chat — be it shopkeepers or rickshawalas or  chaiwalas — and an opportunity to share nuggets of their city with me. I still remember my first visit it was a shopkeeper who pointed me to shop selling the best sweets I have ever eaten. Similarly, it was a rickshawala who took me to a small shop selling bandhani dupattas in unimaginable colours and shades. Remembering…Missing…Dad…

Please forgive a personal and less than jolly  blog, but my dad has been on my mind recently. Year upon year now have slipped quietly past since I last held him… last told him I loved him…. said a final goodbye. They say that time heals all wounds, but I’m not so sure. Perhaps it does apply a soft lens and some sepia tones to ones memories. There are certain times and life events during which the absence of loved ones is most acutely felt. Wedding, Festivals and the Birth of a child I’ve found rank high among these. So at this joyous time of New Year, please indulge me a very brief sad moment. It’s just that I do so wish my father could be with us… could see us all… hold us… kiss us. Please don’t feel you must read all of this. I’m really writing it for myself and for my family &; my siblings who would never get to meet Grandpa.
