Old Memories ..........

Remembering my class mates, after few years,
My Eyes were filled with tears,
Everyone now is busy a lot,
No one escaped destiny's plot.

Saw the girl, whom once I thought as my best friend,
Oops!! Today she is somebody else's girlfriend,
After months , remembered about her for a little while,
Heard she is happy, that made me smile.

Project reviews to campus interviews,
Nicknames to last bench games,
Cultural rehearsals to love proposals,
Short term crushes to class room blushes.

Everything is fresh in our mind,
Wish life could just rewind,
Lets laugh, play & rejoice,
Once again become college guys.

Chatting & laughing, we all were in elation,
Till the painful moment of seperation,
When it was time to part,
We returned with a heavy heart.  

Today life is full of commitments,
And too many worries,
But these cherished moment,
Will live forever in our memories!!!

Ever since I have started working since the Jan of 2009, this is the first time I am getting a chance to do a trip with some of my friends. My best friend and some of his friends and some of his friends of friends are going to Goa . I & Vaishu would join them  in Goa on 2nd Oct ( Yes a dry day , I sound stupid :P )  and going to stay with them for the rest of the week. I feel excited about the trip. It might be a refreshing break from my usual work days routine. I am taking off of only one day but I will be getting a whole bunch of 5 days off.  – Which is a Thursday + the weekends. I am trying to not think about it too much and I am going to try be in the moment and think about it when I am actually there. A weekend getaway to Udaipur...........Vroommmm

Paradise  for architecture lovers vibrant Rajasthan is an incredible destination popular for its formidable monuments, colorful culture, golden sand dunes and the desert! Magnificent monuments silently tell the tales of prosperity, gallantry and tragedies of the bygone era.  Udaipur is a nice, cozy size for a city and exploring it at my own pace was entirely possible. And the locals were friendly and ever ready for a chat — be it shopkeepers or rickshawalas or  chaiwalas — and an opportunity to share nuggets of their city with me. I still remember my first visit it was a shopkeeper who pointed me to shop selling the best sweets I have ever eaten. Similarly, it was a rickshawala who took me to a small shop selling bandhani dupattas in unimaginable colours and shades.
